HopeAlive roots from the view that we all have hopes lit in ourselves, wanting and waiting for someone to acknowledge and nourish. The approach used is non-clinical and supportive which helps in deriving meaning, clarity and resolution. We strive to provide a safe, encouraging and transparent journey towards self-healing with a therapy that is best suited.

ABOUT Me

I have completed graduation in Applied Psychology (H) from University of Delhi and masters in Counselling from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. I am a certified practitioner in Art Based Therapy (ABT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotional Behavioural Therapy (REBT) and Behaviour Therapy (BT).

I have provided therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, families and couples in various settings, i.e. corporate, government and non-government organisations, schools, hospitals, colleges and child development centres.

 

 

Why I do what I do!


I opted for this profession to be there for anyone who needs help. I want to do the kind of work that motivates me and others every day. Being a part of your self-discovery and empowerment is rewarding and a great honour.

 
 

MY APPROACH

 

As a counselling psychologist, I use non-directive, informal, supportive and empathetic approach to guide, encourage and empower you without any judgements. 

I ensure to provide a safe space to explore, gather insights and heal - allowing you to re-connect and be comfortable with yourself. It is essential to have trust, honesty, and truth as a foundation of the client-therapist relationship.

I believe that everyone has the capacity to choose what is best for them, as they are the anchors of their lives. At times, while sailing, situations occur which can lead to various struggles, but with the right support, one can steer the wheel of the ship in the right direction, without deflecting from the course.

You don’t need to wait or struggle to get that support. Rather, choosing therapy can make you stronger, confident and sure of how and in which direction you want to live your life.
