Targeted Trauma Resolution: Focussed
Targeted Trauma Resolution is a focused therapy designed to reduce the emotional and nervous-system charge around specific trauma experiences, triggers, memories and body reactions that keep repeating. This is not “quick catharsis.” It is structured work that prioritizes safety, stabilization, and integration — so progress holds in real life.

This is for you if…
-
You feel hijacked by triggers (panic, shutdown, numbness, dissociation, sudden fear)
-
You experience trauma-linked symptoms (flashbacks, nightmares, body memories)
-
You’ve tried insight and coping tools, but the body remembers or keeps reacting
-
You want trauma work that is paced and collaborative — not forced or rushed
Not suited for…
-
Acute crisis or emergencies
-
Active ongoing abuse requiring immediate safety planning / higher care
-
Severe instability requiring intensive psychiatric/crisis support
Readiness & safety Matters
Trauma processing works best when your nervous system has enough stability and resourcing. If you’re in acute crisis, actively unsafe, or severely destabilized, we may focus first on:
-
stabilization
-
grounding and nervous-system tools
-
safety planning and appropriate referrals (when needed)
What common shifts clients often notice
-
reduced intensity and frequency of triggers
-
more choice in the moment (pause instead of panic/shutdown)
-
fewer body alarms and less hypervigilance less avoidance and more emotional steadiness
-
a sense of closure or feeling neutral to the event / it could feel like it’s not gripping you the same way”
